Please join us for out long-awaited Okonomiyaki night.

Okonomiyaki is a Japanese savoury pancake containing a variety of ingredients. The name is derived from the word okonomi, meaning "what you like" or "what you want," and yaki meaning "grilled" or "cooked" (cf. yakitori and yakisoba). Okonomiyaki is mainly associated with Kansai or Hiroshima areas of Japan, but is widely available throughout the country. Topping and batters tend to vary according to region.

Mokuyokai member, Shaun Krislock will demonstrate okonomiyaki cooking techniques. Everyone is encouraged to participate. This is an opportunity to create your own okonomiyaki masterpiece!

Date and time: Saturday, November 21, 5pm-8:30pm
Place: Verona Amenity Room

Bring: please bring your own pair of (non-disposable) chopsticks.

Cost: Mokuyokai members $10 / Guest $15
