Volunteering

Vancouver Mokuyokai Society members volunteer their time and energy to organize all events and activities. Volunteering for events is a great way to meet people and contribute to the organization.

In addition to our monthly events we have several larger, often seasonal events throughout the year. Some activities include:

Ohanami (cherry blossom viewing)
Summer BBQ
Bonenkai (year end party)
Volunteer Appreciation party
Cultural Events

We also cooperate with other organizations in Vancouver. Some of these events are:

5000 Origami Cranes Project
Japan Fair

Many of these events attract large numbers of the public. The Vancouver Mokuyokai Society is always looking for enthusiastic people to help organize events.
